What jewelry can be worn with a helix piercing?

Initially, the piercing is done with a barbell with a longer shank to allow for possible swelling. Once the swelling subsides (usually after a month), the jewelry is changed to a shorter shank to improve healing and ensure comfort.
How to care for a helix piercing?

- After cleaning, it is advisable to dry thoroughly - you can use a hairdryer on cool mode.
- Be careful when changing clothes or styling your hair so you don't catch your jewelry.
- Sleep on your other ear or use a travel pillow with an empty middle
- Avoid swimming in lakes, pools, and jacuzzis for 2-3 weeks while the piercing is still fresh
- Visit your piercer for a check-up in about 6 weeks – the bar may need to be shortened to promote healing.
And finally, try not to interfere with it and allow your body to heal naturally.
How long does it take for a helix piercing to heal?
Complete healing can take between 6 and 12 months , but it depends on each individual.
